Roller Rockers for my AFR's.....and install questions

My AFR 165's 58cc heads are supposed to come in tomorrow and im planning on putting them on this weekend. Will the 1.6 roller rockers off my GT-40 irons work on the afr's?? Im not sure what kind of r.r. are on there because they were on the car when i got it and havnt pulled it apart yet.

What spark plugs do you guys recommend using with these heads?

Anything else i need to know before i install them??

thanks for the help

The rockers are probably FMS rockers becaue he did everything else FMS. Please help because if i need to order anything else to install these i have to do it today in order to get it in time for the weekend. I appreciated any advice you can give me before i install these afr 165's.

thanks for your help

well as long as both heads are either stud or ped mount you'll be ok.

can't use pedestal mount rocker on a head setup for stud mount and vice versa. as for plugs: the heads will come with an instruction manual showing what plugs and other thing to do the install.

Check AFR's web site for a base plug reccomendation, as for the rocker arms, check the geometry as it wipes across the head of the valve.

Sometimes, aftermarket head guys use chevy 1.6 rockers to design the heads, Ford's geometry is slightly different (I know this sounds wierd, but I had Canfield fax me some instructions for thier cylinder heads once, and they reccomended the use of Crane gold race chevy rocker arms because thats what they used to develop the head).

Anywhosit, just make sure it works right and you have plenty of clearence on the piston side of things and your set.
