I just heard that Dallas is getting Bill Parcells!!!
WOW, that's great isn't it? They signed him for a 4 year contract.
I see Superbowls in the future again.:D
He will have that team turned completely around just like all the other teams he coached.

I live in Dallas and I can't stand the Cowboys.

Self-obsessed owner and players that can't seem to go a week without a drug or rape charge.

I hope they wallow in their current rut for the next 5 years...

Jerry Jones is far to involved with the team for sure.

Actually I dont think there were any Cowboy scandals this year.

The Cowboys need to beef up the offensive line and draft a QB.

I predict a Superbowl for them in 2 years.
I guarantee Bill Parcells will turn that team around...wanna bet?

crazyhorse , I agree with you partially. I think he will stick around long enough for them to reach the playoffs or superbowl and then get out. He'll want to accomplish some kind of positive begore he goes.
Unless, on the other hand, Jerry Jones does something to piss him off like he did to Jimmy Johnson.(like try and run the team himself)
Nevertheless, Dallas did need a new coach for years now.

Parcells was a good coach at one time. The evolution of the NFL has left him behind. He can't turn the cowboys around in 2 years and win the superbowl. I'll bet anything on that. If anything I say in 3-4 years they have 7-8 wins. I don't see them ever winning a superbowl under him as he will be gone in 3-4 years anyway. And yes...I used to live in FT. Worth. No....I hate the cowboys.

Time will tell I guess but just remember the prediction I made when two years from now you see Dallas in the superbowl.
As long as Parcells is allowed to run the show as he sees fit, they will be superbowl bound.
