1k to spend on some heads??

Time has come, im getting a 1000$ from a settlement, just dont know what to get, i was thinking roush 180's? for 800$

But is the gains worth it? what could i expect with hp, mph/e.t?
I really want some edelbrock 6037's, but is it worth saving the extra cash? im trying to take a cheap way out without going p heads. open to suggestions.

Looking at what you have, i'd say get the Roush heads and spend what you've saved on a cam. Those two together should make a significant difference. The only sticking point i see though is the stock intake ... I'm a carb man so i don't know how restrictive the stock EFI intakes are ??? if they're really bad then the heads and cam won't gain you squat.

Yea i was waiting for that lol, the intake is restrictive, but i planned on taking my rotary tool to the lower, i already have the upper opened up in the inlet, and ports, that would only be temporary until i get a tfs street intk, id like to do the cam but dont want to pull the motor, or front clip, guess it's a thought.

I have a friend that works in a machine shop too, so maybe i can get some porting, also with a hotter cam, id have to step up gearing, i kind of like my grs at this time since i drive it to work on the hwy still, i will be upgrading the maf, and injectors to 24#'s im getting a good deal on. thnx....

Dude, If I'me not mistaken, I saw the Roush 200's in the Summit catalog for like $800 or $899. I can't exactly remember. But if there is only $100 difference, I'd say get the 200's. But that's just my opinion.

Flow more - Spend less

POWER HEADS + and 3.73 gears = money left over
