FRPP A/C Delete

Ok, I just got finished ripping my a/c out and need to move the power steering pump up to where the a/c compressor was. I have the FRPP delete kit but I didn't get any directions with it?!? I know the silver bracket goes on the cylinder head and the black bracket attaches to the water pump but how do they fit on?? It seems like I've tried to put that silver bracket on in every possible way...but nothing looks right to me... Can anyone give me a hand?

I didn't use any of those routes. I moved the tensioner pully to where the AC was. It has been trouble free for years.

The tensioner pulley got pitched when the supercharger went on, so technically, mine is sitting on a shelf taking up space :) I still can't figure out how these damn brackets go...

A/C Delete Install

I have and installed the same kit and it works great. I agree a bit tricky though w/o instructions. I was going to post a picture, but don't have a good one. I'll do my best to describe it in words... 1) Attach the silver bracket to the cylinder head (as you mentioned). The shorter bolts should be used for this. This piece has two "towers" or gussetted protrusions in the middle of the piece. These will be used to mount the PS pump and the slightly longer one should go down. 2) Mount the black bracket to the water pump. Use the existing studs for this with new nuts. Two studs will hold this bracket on and there's a hole in it to clear a another stud in the center of the bracket. This piece is in an S-shape and should be mounted so it sticks out towards the front of the car. 3) Slide the pump up between the silver and black brackets. Use the 2 long bolts provided to screw the pump into the 2 threaded holes in the silver bracket.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions...
