explicitone 01-09-2003 07:13 AM

that proves ricers should stay with front wheel drive

302 LX Eric 01-09-2003 08:06 AM

What the hell was that?!?! Did he loose power to one wheel or something? And where was the guy that he was racing? Weird.

God I'm glad I don't do the local scene anymore...you could be 100 yards away and still get hit! :D

How exactly did that happen? Is there any story to go along with the video?

Hammer 01-09-2003 02:08 PM

People like him are the reason cops are so hard on street racers!

And the Jacka$$ of the month award goes to.........

GodStang 01-09-2003 08:07 PM

I said it once I will say it again.

God loves stupid people, because he sure made alot of them

MazdaProwner 01-14-2003 08:03 PM

I've seen that on a few Mazda Protege forums.
The "official" word is that he had an aftermarket steering wheel that wasn't torqued properly and it came off.
As to why he didn't hit the brakes, and to why the car swerved to the right is beyond me.

Ackbar00 01-14-2003 08:18 PM

Officialy, He is a fuckingg idiot!

Without dickheads like that collision shops would have a lot less business.

I don't believe the story about the steering wheel for 1 second, here's why; Look at the kid's reaction after he got out of the car and walked to the front of it. He just stood there with his arms crossed. Natural reaction would be outrage at the defective wheel that caused the crash. He didn't say squat about the wheel coming off when everyone's yelling at him. I would have had the wheel in my hand screaming that it came off causing me to lose control. Do you see such a reaction?......NOPE. Someone's just trying to squeeze the driver through the door of reasonable doubt.

:D THE Funniest Race Video I have seen! I doubt the Steering problem. Obviously there was some problem, but his overall speed was actually quite low. He never should have hit a thing(assuming it's not a brake problem). A simple case of a Bad Driver.Anyone know the supposed ET of that Car?Later.:D

joe4speed 01-15-2003 03:31 AM

HUH??   what a fool... how does that happen???

I agree, good point!

MazdaProwner 01-15-2003 02:06 PM

Yeah, it seems pretty obvious that if that did happen he would be bitching about the steering wheel. To be honest I didn't even think of that until you mentioned it, but now that you did.........
The steering wheel thing is just what I heard on another board.

now i am not sticking up for this guy, but maybe this is what happened. He is an epileptic and had a seizer. That is the only thing i can think of. If he isnt, a swift kick in the asz should help him out!!

gofastmercury 01-16-2003 02:31 AM

You know, I work in a body shop, And I LAUGH every time I see a wreck. That is just too funny. I agree with the steering wheel thing.

You know... Maybe he was stoned/drunk??

Maybe we should thank him for try to wreck some jetta? na......
