cobra engine swap
 

As my user name states, i have a 1995 GT with a 5.0. Well shes starting to get tired and well i was wondering if there was anything special i have to do in order to swap a 94-95 cobra engine. also, i was wonding if it was possible to put in a (t-45) well the one that ford started using in the '96 and up mustangs. tranny? and if so what do i have to do? i really don't know much about tranny's so if someone out there knows something about them let me know. thanks.

There should not be much you have to do. As far as getting a different tranny. You may need to change the bellhousing and driveshaft. Look at stangparts.com for used and new cobra engines and t45 trannys
