can anyone tell me if it works? I have a friend with a 95 gt aode and he was looking into one. they are $39.99. does anyone have one? if so is it worth the $$? do they work good??

I HEAR they work decently good...they're supposed to have like 2 firmness settings, something like that...probably all it really does is firm up shifts and that's it. Nothing beats doing a shiftkit the old fashioned way but that's probably worth the money if tranny upgrades are a ways down the line...

i put one of those on my buddies super coupe, it firmed the shifts a little bit. i wouldnt do it.

I put one of those on my truck. I use it mainly when towing but the performance setting is pretty cool when you wanna firm up the shifts some. I highly recommend that if your tranny is slipping -DO NOT PUT THIS ON- the increased line pressure and more firm shifts will eat an already slipping tranny up. But otherwise.. Go for it.
