With Spring comes new life
 

With spring comes new life, in the form of a 331 stroker!! Now i must admit ive been sitting around pickin my tail a little too much and not getting done what needed to be done but this weekend i took the first step and started some assembly. I had the block punched 30, honed, and notched for clearance over the summer. I also painted the block and removed any surface rust from sitting this fall. I put in new main bearings and main studs and dropped in the crank and plastigauged it. specs where right at about .00017 which is tolerable. So i then preceeded to drop the caps back on top of the crank added the thick washers dropped on my new main girdle (yeah baby) and torqued her down to 75 ft pds. I think next weekend we check ring end gap and install the je forged flat tops and eagel h-beam rods. Ill updage as i go, bye yall.
