88 stang shuts off after longer drives

I have been having this problem with my mustang shutting off after like an hour of driving. It will be running fine until it shuts off. Im not getting any detonation or hesistation before it does so. The thermostat will be at 190', the fuel pump will stay on, and I have a small vacuum leak. I have replaced the plugs, wires, coil, ignition module, and this has still not alleviated the problem. Any feedback that you could give would be greatly appreciated.:(

I.A.C. valve????? or maybe O2's?????

just a guess

fix the vaccum leak and see if that helps

TFI module are notorious for doing that, once they get old, they won't work when they get too hot. See if a friend has one you could swap out with. Let us know.

Thanks for your replies. Usmc, good luck over there when we do go to war, come back safely so you can finish that 460. :)

Thanks, I am actually over here right now and we have some down time right now so i check this pretty regularly, nice this day in technology isn't it?! I wouldn't worry about the War or if even there will be a full on fight, we have the best of the best over here and America should be proud and sleep well at night, the Marines are on watch!
