Do they need a certain amount of HP to be effective? With the KB blower I see loads of low end and mid range TQ. I could use a little upper end HP.

I think you might notice a difference( abit a rather small one) if you axed them. I say go for it, but your car is gonna be alot louder

KB's are known for their lack of upper rpm power, i think the only fix for that is to go with a centrifugal supercharger.

everyone i talk to says that they love it for street driving (stop light racing) but when it comes to the strip they lack too much top end power.

Thanks for the input on the loudness. I can't stand a loud car. I don't like hair dryers either.
