Cam bearing

Does anybody know where I could get the tool to remove and put in the cam bearings with?

Borrow one?

I would check at AutoZone and Pepboys to see if they have one you can borrow. They do lend tools like that with just a deposite if they have them. You wouldn't want to have to buy one that's used so infrequenly. Also, a machine shop would install those for you for not much $$$.

I checked the zone, pep, and advance with no luck.

Thats a real speciality tool. You could try a mailorder place like Summit racing that also sells tools, PAW out in cali sells alot of tools, or maybe JC Whitney. I know there's a company Lisle, that makes speciality tools for engine builders or try Snap-On or Mac, they've got everything.

You will probably spend more for the tool than a machine shop will charge to do the job. Unless of course you are in the business and plan to do many engines.

THat tool is rediculously expensive. I had the same idea about a year ago and couldn't believe what they go for.
