Make up my mind, what do yall think?

I have been sitting on this 9# powerdyne for over a month now. Should I sell it and go with AFRs and a new cam and the k-member and A-arms or put the blower on?
The heads and tubulars will reduce 75# and add power, the blower will add power and weight, and not have the money for the tubular stuff.

Help me decide:confused:

my opinion is get rid of thee blower. you can always get a blower later. Set your car up first, then add the power. That is what i would do.

I also would agree. It isn't easy to add a blower on a work car without additional parts, tuning, and headache. Larger injections, a spark box, a bigger pump, a bigger radiator, and blown head gaskets: all tend to be a part of running forced induction. My opinion, as someone whose travelled 100k+ miles in a supercharged stang (3 different blowers, broken head gaskets, etc. etc..)

Another vote for ditching the blower and getting everything else setup first.

I know it's a hard decision, as I've been wanting to get a ProCharger on mine every time spring rolls around. But, looking back, I'm very happy where I am in terms of the overall build-up of the car: First came all the 'usual bolt-ons' (gears, complete exhaust, pulleys, etc.) then came heads/cam/intake, then a Tremec/King Cobra Clutch/Alum. Fly/Steel bell and just recently my new 331! :D So, next up is suspension, Bogart's, some real drag tires, Auburn Pro, 31 splines, and brakes. THEN, I think it will finally be ready for a blower.

A long and expensive road, but it's all worth it! :D

I say: sell the blower, get the heads, k-member and arms. as for a cam, what cam did you have in mind?? off the shelf or a custom??

if it were any blower other than a powerdyne, then i'd say to keep it and then save for the other stuff.

But i'm gonna jump in with everyone else and say get rid of it.

Buy the heads/k-member, and save up for a F3R procharger:D

E-bay here I come, I was pretty sure this would be a non-disputed thing. Thanks fellas.

You know, given how far you have gone with the stock heads so far, I am gonna have to be different and say go with the blower. I like the whole blower idea. But ultimately the choice is your and it sounds like you have already made the decision. Good luck in the quest for speed whichever way you go.
