brake pad?
 
ok i need some brake pads so i will do all 4 of them i am going towards hawks up front ...wut kind should i get for the rear and do they have to as good as the hawks or can they be liek some local parts store brand or some ford ones ...thanxs

Hawk did make racing drum shoes that stopped a mustang in the same distance as rear disc. I had them 4 or 5 years ago and it was a totally different car. With drums it heated the shoes so fast they worked with out any heat time and really did a nice job but I would put new drums on the rear instead of turning the old ones.

I would run the Performance Friction "Z" pads from Autozone. THey are the $60 (not $30) ones, and come with a lifetime guarantee. I used to get a new set ever spring for my roadracer :)

Rear drum brakes are basically unimportant, so get what you want there.


If you _really_ want brakes, then bit the bullit, and get some PBR's with 13" rotors like I did. :)
