347 engine buildup
I am going to be doing a recent swap from a 302 to a 347 stroker.
i was planning on making it carb but i got so many racing parts for fuel injection (intake injectors throttle body etc..) that i got laying around and i would like to keep it a fuel injected car and was wondering since my stang is already fuel injected could i just use the original computer and all the other little fuel injected gagets that go with it. Can anyone tell me what are the main things i have to change in order to keep it fuel injected with the 347. i know i gotta change some things for the fuel injectors but anything else??? they are 30lb fuel injectors if you are wondering. Just make sure you have a fuel pressure regulator, a bigger fuel pump, the right MAF for your injectors, and a bigger TB. You'll get the most out of your engine if you get a nice set of heads, intake, ignition system and headers.

When I built up my 331 this past summer, I had my Autologic chip re-burned for the extra cubes. It idles like a dream. It's amazing hw many guys have problems getting their cars to idle nicely even with just 302s.
