idle problems
 
ok just added all the mods below and have a surging idle problem. i have adjusted the tps for .98volts. timeing is at 14deg, idle speed is at 900 rpm and will surge to 1200 then to 700 and so on till it dies. everything is new tps, ibs, o2 sensors ect. should i try a idle bypass plate? help help help!!! will have pictures of the car soon!!!

ok my mods are not listed. 302 with motorsport gt 40 alum heads b303 cam 65 mm throttle body tfs intake bbk 190lph pump and regulator long tube headders pro-m air meter k&n ect.fuel pressure 40lbs

You can clean the idle bypass mechanism with carb cleaner often this will help the idle, it comes apart with just a few screws. I don't know about deleting it, a couple buddies of mine have done that and i've noticed they have to give it gas to keep it running at times.
