idle going crazy

when i first start my car and its not warmed up, my idle goes up and down up and down almost to where it sounds like its going to stall, but it dosent, and when the engine temp goes up ,it runs fine. is there a problem here, or is it just the fact that the car has to warm up.
if therte is a problem, what is it?
thank you

I'd say the IAB, clean it out or unplug it. That thing is good for nothing, except for causing headaches.

I had a problem with my idle. Cleaned IAB and messed with throttle position sensor and throttle stop screw. No such luck. Found brand new ford throttle body in box on e-bay with all new sensors for $35.00. Idles like a new car again.
