Wrecked the Stang
 

I was coming home from work on Friday night and lost control of my car. It went off road and hit a tree. I had to climb out the back window because neither door would open. I luckily walked away unhurt. I have setup a website with some pics if anyone would like to see them.:( http://montaz3.tripod.com :(

Now I have to wait and see what the insurance company is going to do. Hopefully, they will not drag there feet.

Man that sucks, but at least you're ok. It looks like it was a beautiful car before the accident. Yellow is my favorite color and a mustang in yellow can't be beat. Good luck with everything!

Oh I didn't need to see that. It hurts me to see stangs in pain. It's good you came out of it ok. I hope the insurance will take care of everything for ya.

Thanks for the sympathy, I have added some closer pics of the stang to the site. I hate to say it, but I hope the insurance company sees fit to total this one. It will never drive the same and never be as safe again. Like I have told everyone that I have talked to though... I will own another one.... One day.

On the lighter side, my first question when I got out was if it had rolled over. I wasn't even concerned with myself... just the car.

I am assuming you are refering to the one on the hood. If they do decide to total it, I will certainly do what I can to get it off. I want the pony from the grill, so I will already be under the hood. Have to have somthing to remember my first stang with! I'm hoping to know if it is totaled by tomorrow. I will let you know about the scoop after that.

Your insurance is going to go throught he roof. After I wrecked my cobra and did 6600 dollars worth of damage my insurance company dropped me and I had to get with progressive insurance and damn they are expensive.

Looks like your car is totaled for sure. Which means you are gonna have a 20,000 dollar claim on your insurance.

:eek:I cannot believe it... they are telling me they are going to try to fix it. Right now the estimate is over $12,000 and they are saying that the car is worth $20,000. Does anyone else find this strange? The car sells new for $23,000. Are they saying the the car only lost $3,000 of its value in a year? I can't figure this one out. :confused: This is going to be a long process... we shall see what happens.
