to much fuel, coming out the exhaust?

I just installed a BB&T stage 2 fuel system a long with a Anderson PMS a log with 42#inj. I tried to start the motor and it cranked for a little while and it started shooting fuel out the header gasket. The fuel pressure was 43#. This is on a 306 with all the bolt ons and a s-trim.

If it's cranking but not firing the fuel has to go somewhere. Pull your plugs and clean them off, then check to see if you have any spark.Did it shoot fuel out of both sides?

I think you might need to upgrade the EEC-IV (if your running EFI) or buy a chip. I was told by Superchips that for my application w/30lb. injectors that the motor will run very rich and I could possibly have fuel coming out the tailpipe due to the stock computer being calibrated for 19 lbs. Most of the guys here are running larger injectors and can be of more help than myself since my motor isn't completely finished and in the car yet.
