Radial T/A vs. Comp T/A ZR

Looking to put 225 or 245 rubber on all 4 corners in a 90 GT. Radial T/A vs. Comp T/A ZR?

Aren't they totally different tires as far as price/quality? I'm sure the Comp T/A zr would be way better as far as handling, etc. but they're gonna cost a bunch more.

A BFG radial T/A is an S-speed rated tire with a softer sidewall and worse handling characteristics than the Z rated Comp T/A you're looking at. In fact, auto manufacturers recommend not using a tire with a lower speed rating that stock which in the case of a fox mustang GT, is a V-speed rated tire ('87-'93). An H-rated tire would be good enough for most performance use, but an S-speed rated tire is more of a higher mileage, lower cost, lower performance type driving tire.
Also what size rim are you using, is it a 15, 16 or 17 inch rim?
I would definately go with the comp T/A if those are your options. It's a good wearing/handling tire so it should be good for sprited driving.

I'm running stock 15x7 turbines with 225/60 15 Dunlop D60 A2, don't like em! I do like white lettering.......

Well, I'm still debating which tire to go with.....but I want to go with a little wider rubber all around, which tire will fit the 15x7 turbines and not cause problems up front? How does the 245/60-15 sound?

I've got the BFG Comp T/A ZRs on my Mustang. Overall they are a nice cruising tire. I like them. Definitely not a very sticky tire tough :D I've got the 245's mounted on my stock 'pony' wheels. If you'd like to see a pic, you can under the media center under my user name.
