fuel pressure regualtor question
I run this car on the drag strip only and was wondering if I could just adjust the fuel pressure without the vacuum hose that mounts to the reguator and leave it off when I run then car. Thanks

That would just confuse the computer and add no real benefit. The vacuum line is there to maintain a constant relative pressure between the cylinder and fuel rail. The vacuum line going to the FPR is strictly uncontrolled intake vacuum.
I'm only saying this since your question seems to imply that you believe the computer will not be able to control the fuel pressure with it attached. The computer doesn't control fuel pressure at all. That's purely mechanical and independent of the computer. ------------------ 351W 89 Mustang GT Convertible |
