Will ground forces fight at night?

I got into a little disagreement.

Will the US ground forces fight at night? I say no, they say yes. I just wanna know when most of the ground fighting will take place. Day or night? I figured Hammer or somebody could help me.

The US armed forces OWN the night... you bet your bottom they'll fight during the darkness....

I knew the first attack wouldn't last long since it was daybreak in Baghdad. I'm going to have to agree with Hammer saying they will fight at night.

Infrared works wonders. The cloak of night is the best free disguise the US troops will have.

Day, night, afternnon, tea time, you name, we will bring it!

Crazy Horse GT 03-20-2003 12:52 AM

daytime , night time, any damn time night vision stuff is cool . :D :D :D

Im sure the majority of the ground forces at least in the beginning will go at night. Our night vision technology is leaps and bounds ahead of thiers, if they even have any at all.

What about sandstorms...

I know our night vision stuff kicks *** and all, but what if the ground forces get caught up in a sand storm or something of that nature? I hear that sand over there could really jack things up as far as technology and stuff goes.

Mach 1 03-20-2003 03:37 PM

Whats up with you guys, were at war, and well do whatever necesarry to win, be it fight with sand up our butt or during the day. You cant plan war ahead of time, you have to deal with the punches as you go along, and fight when you are forced to at times.

We have the best military in the world, dont worry about them.

Everybody knows we own the night, but that doesnt mean in any way we will limit our fighting to the night.

For Your Information
All squad Leaders are equiped with a single lense Low Light intensfier this is Much cheaper then Infa red and have One Eye Free which means the have good Parifrial Vison the Low Light Intesifier means they can see any moving target. This is your Basic Marine, Navy Seals, Army, Equipment it also means they can close the eye with the Low light Intesifier and aim and fire with the other and Never lose Night vision from there own muzzle flash. My Husband was a Seal and He showed me How it worked. It made everything look green but you could see very well but again it gives you tunnel vision you cannot see left or right only straight ahead thats why there is Only one Optic. So the Other eye can sweep at close range at Night. I Hope my Poor spelling didnt screw this Up and I tryed to explain that as best i can Not knowing much about it only what I was told.
