head bolts

I just placed a set of TFS track heat heads on my mustang, and I need to know if I need to hot torque the head bolts. My heads have the O-ring and gasket. If so should I use the same final cold torque.

I was always under the impression that with a new set of heads (especially aluminum), you ran then engine up to operating temperature then let it cool down and retorque the cylinder heads? this allows the engine to completely cycle thermally.

My advice go to http://www.n2performance.com/index.html

and ask the Jim McFarland, he's the former engineering guru at edelbrock so if anybody would have a no BS answer he would

No need, dont waste your time. This is something race engine builders might do, but certainly isnt required for any normal streetable car.
