ARP S@CKS (Long)

Finally assembling my FRPP long block, figured I would make it easier for myself and bought the ARP Master Bolt Kit. Not only were about half of the bolts the wrong size and diamater, but one of the lower intake bolts decided to snap about 3/4 of the way into the new head. I had to laugh when I looked in the botom of the box and saw a little piece of paper stating "due to assembly line variances some bolts may differ." Anyone else run into a problem like this?

I find this hard to believe and at the same time rediculous. I thought ARP was what everyone was using? HMM Who's a good manufacture of bolts then?

I've never had any problems with ARP bolts! Ive used them in just about every engine aplication that you can with no difficulty

I learned that lesson awhile ago. I bought the master kit only to find that none of the front cover bolts would work. It seems that the roller blocks take different size bolts than the rest of the small blocks. The head bolts worked fine and the main studs were ok too. I've never had a problem with their quality though.
