cobra intake numbers....and a few questions...
 

I have a cobra intake and am wondering what year it is off of.

Here are the #s on the upper and lower:


heres the numbers i found at the front of the cobra intake

RF-F87E-9K461BA

THERES ANOTHER NUMBER THAT SAYS 3636 NEXT TO IT.

THE UPPER MANIFOLD READS AS FOLLOWS

RF-F3ZE-9425-A16A

WITH THIS NUMBER UNDER THAT NUMBER BUT MUCH SMALLER CASTING

041621


Any ideas what year this thing is?

Also i am going to stick this on my stock 91 lx coupe. Any idea what the upper and lower gasket kit numbers are? Also does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on installation of a cobra upper and lower on stock heads?

looks like the 93 and ealier one you have posted.

More than likely it didnt come off an actual cobra, but there is a slight possibility. I dont remember the # on the gaskets it uses, I have a 1250 on mine for the intake, and for the upper/lower gasket the gt-40 style will work. You shouldnt run into any problems on the install either.

what else would it have come off of if not a cobra? Were there other cars with this intake? It says cobra 50 on plate on the top.

im confused

only the cobra has that as stock equipment. the 93-95 lightnings had similar intakes which were the gt40's.
