Dont want to drill holes
 

Does anybody know of an aftermarket install kit for radios were you DONT have to drill into the console to mount a cd player.

I have this in my car now and would like to replace my console and put a new install kit in it.

the only thing I can think of is, to mount it elsewhere... like get an RF cd changer and put it in the trunk and then use the factory head unit. Or try www.customautosound.com they make a remote radio setups for classic cars.. though it would work in anycar I would guess

I didnt have to drill holes for my head unit...By install kit do you mean dash kit ? These are bought at curcuit city or if you have private audio stores around you.

I know what he means.. most install kits for aftermarket units require you to mount a plate over the radio "hole" and it uses screws in teh corners to mount it.. though I'm sure someone, somewhere has found a way to do it without drilling holes

Yeah, all the install kits for aftermarket radios requre you to drill into the dash to mount the radio. I was hoping sombody new where you could get one where you didn't have to do this.
