Why is my thread closed?

Well? WTF.

Sicy Stang 04-07-2003 11:57 AM

Seriously.. this is really bothering me. I am an admin of a large message board. I know all about closing threads. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for that thread to be closed. There is no fighting, no racism, no name calling.. its a ******* normal conversation for christs sakes.

I hope this isnt how this board is run.. closing threads for no reason.

I guess I'll email the moderator.. or better yet the owner.

Yea, I am with you on this one. I don't see why it would get closed.....

The thread might be more appropriate if it were in the BOL, but a moderator could just move it in that case. I don't know .

Sicy Stang 04-07-2003 12:51 PM

Well personally, I dont feel it belongs in BOL. I mean, it is a discussion about mustangs and how many miles you have on it... BOL seems to me to be more of a non-automotive discussion forum.

In any case, I wouldnt have minded it being moved, or even an explanation in the thread as to why it was being closed.. I'm a pretty easy going person..... but this is just ridiculous.

Cool your jets and relax.

The thread drifted of topic to the point where it is no longer relevant in this particular forum. This is a tech forum, not a general discussion forum which is where it ended up.

It probably could be moved to BOL so that's what I am going to do.

In the future, if you have a problem please email myself rather than post.
