Stroker Kit For a 3.8L
Has anyone Heard Of a Stroker Kit Designed for the 3.8L? I am Under the Impretion that 4.6L is achievable through one of these kits and that the Timming Gears are the same as those used in the 4.6L V-8. Has anyone Stroked Out there 6? and where are these kits avalible from. Also what type of cam Is Good Lift and Duration seeing that this is a Very Drivable Car Slightly Modified More twards Corner Carving

Yes there is stroker kits for V6s. 4.2 is the most common but someone did bring to my attention that there is a kit that strokes to 4.6L. Kenny brown runs a 4.2L 2000 or 2001 V6. Pick up a magizine or search the web for kits.

The 4.2's have a longer stroke crank, and most kits use the crankshaft, rods and pistons out of a 4.2L V6 truck engine (same engine), while others charge more and upgrade everything to forged. Also, i believe you'd have to get your engine block clearanced for the longer throw of the crankshaft. I believe the bottom end of a 4.2L truck engine will bolt right in with your cylinder heads and intake manifold with no problems. There's alot of info out there in the internet, so hopefully people can be more helpful than i am :D
