2001 intake to 98 4.6?
 

Anyone know what modifications need to be made to the newer " 2001" intake maifold so it will fit on the old 98 heads? I hear that you can make them fit with a little modification, is this true?

the gaskets have to be trimmed but this is kinda a useless mod because the 01 ports are much larger than the ports on the 98 heads the ports would be very mismatched

Not realy looking for it to be a MOD. I came across one for cheap ( $ 20.00 ) and figured I'd buy it in case mine goes out under boost:( If it works without much modifing I'll use it, if not I'll re-sell it.
