Lokar Kickdown
 

Well, at some point during my rebuild, I managed to lose the link that goes from the carb to the kickdown lever on the transmission. If I can't find a junk one, I'm thinking of buying one made by Lokar. As far as I can tell, it looks like its a cable instead of a rod. I was just wondering if any of you have used one, or know anything about them.

I've had the same problem. You should be able to find one. There are enough mustang graveyards out there. Just make sure they send you the right one, not one from a small block ie; 289/302/351w. I've gotten some hard to find parts from Glaizer's Mustang Barn. Search it online they have a site. They're on the east coast, you probably have similar places out by you. As far as Lokar, they make good stuff. But, that linkage is a cable and wont work on a Cleveland. Good luck
