pulled this code

alright, i pulled this code after doing a dianostic test on my car, 543. it means fuel pump secondary failure, battery to PCM. does anyone know what this means?

Do you have a chip? The reason I ask is because my chip throws out that code also. If you really had a secondary fuel pump faliure then it wouldnt start.

nope no chip, do you know what it means? also since i have been getting a check engine light i have only gotten like 170 miles to a tank.
