Stock Miata

What does a Stock 1994 Miata run in the Quarter. My boss thinks his Miata can beat my 94 Stang. Ya I know my stang is slow but come on. Is his less weight make up for the difference in HP?

Back before I did any real work to my c1500 Truck , it was runing 16.1's all day at 82.x MPH or something, I don't remember the MPH all that well, but was def running 16.teens all day... I ran against a Miata in the mid 90's model year and it beat me by about a fender, but it caught me way on the other side.. I roasted it off the line

A stock 1994 Miata runs Flat 17's, with a 0-60 in 9.7 seconds.
So you should have him beat if you give her all you got. Maybe a few boltons would help. ;)

I like the Miata too, it is the 6 cyl in a heavy car that is going to kill you. Try to drop as much weight b4 this match, it should give you a little something extra. Good Luck

Light Em Up!!!:)
