Ummm... Didnt I catch you saying your trac-loc was fubar in another post? If so I'd really suggest fixing that before doing all the work on setting your rear up for runing well without that. Otherwise you may find yourself back at it when you do finaly fix the problem with the trac-loc.

na not me, i could hook when i had the system in the back... but now i have blown shocks... and they need to be fixed but i dont know what shocks or springs to buy....

Well, I had a book on setting up chassie / suspension once (funny how things dissapear when you loan them to people) and from what I recall setting the suspension properly as opposed to just slipping in some of the shelf gear on the advice of a friend involves weighing the car at all 4 wheels simultaneously and doing "a little math" to determine the proper proportional stiffness of the springs.

Heres one book from Amazon on the topic (They should have it at Borders books) http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=books Mabey that's what your looking for

I have Lakewood 70/30 struts, and 50/50 shocks. They work a lot better then the stock set up for launching. I can feel the front end pop up more on hard launches, the only bad thing is it's kind of a rough ride on the street, and the car floats a little on the highway at higer speeds. But they do what they were designed to do. Tokico makes a 5 way adjustable shock and strut, that are suppose to be pretty good, I'm actually thinking about these for my project car.

Try removing your front sway bar when you run at the track, this will help transfer weight better to the rear. Also air down the rear tires some, to help spread out the surface area of the tire.

hmmm. i was running 10lbs of air on nitto's at the track. What are ur 60fts?

later and thanks for responding

Lakewood 70/30s and 50/50's here, with the Eibach Drag launch springs. I have Lakewood Traction Action lower control arms, and MAC adjustable uppers. I haven't had a chance to test it, but that'll occur in a week or so when the motor is back in.

i am really looking into the Tokico Drag Struts and shocks not the price is a littles steap but if they do what everyone claims they do i think it would be a good investment
