Fight Club was pretty good, and is one of my favorites. I watched Matrix Reloaded Saturday night, and I think that's my new favorite. :) I've been told 1k corpses is just too gratuitously violent to be considered a good movie, as in killing for absolutely no reason whatsoever other than to make the movie more bloody. That's BS to me. The most violent ones are some of the Japanese Anime films. Fist of the North Star? Akira? Yeah, baby.

Full Metal Jacket:)

MustangNewb 05-26-2003 01:26 PM

Braveheart
Band of Brothers
Platoon

Sicy Stang 05-26-2003 02:00 PM

The Evil Dead movies.

The Fireman 05-26-2003 06:06 PM

The opening sceen in "Ghost Ship" was one of the most gross, violent things I've ever seen in a movie. I thought Drew Barrymore getting killed in "Scream" was really violent when I first saw it.

"Saving Private Ryan", "Braveheart", and "T2" had a whole lotta hurting going on.

Ackbar00 05-26-2003 07:46 PM

1.Aliens
2.Fight Club
3.Saving Private Ryan
4.We were Soliders

2. Starship Troopers
3. Reanimator (good luck finding this one)
4. Robocop
5. A Clockwork Orange (violence of a different kind!)

Sweet! Other people who like the Evil Dead movies!!! I thought it was just a Michigan State University thing. One of "King Arthur's" wise men in Army of Darkness was one of my brother's professors at MSU.

On to my list

Dead Alive (Hillarious too)
Way of the Gun (has a '69 Cobra in it)
Starship Troopers
Evil Dead series (of course)
Jacob's Ladder (one twisted flick)

Smokey & the Bandit (Violent ???)
The Mad Max movies
Escape from NY & LA
The Terminator movies
Platoon
full metal jacket
