Which heads for what I have?

Considering what I have in my signature, what would be the best head for what I have. I am planning out my summer project and wanted the GT40 heads because of the price, but if I am going to get heads, I may as well save up and get the one's that fit these parts the best. I have some Crane Cobra's 1.7's en route and I am waiting on a b-cam.

So what heads will fit my car best?

Thanks

I think the GT-40 will be good for your setup. I've seen some people run good numbers with similar setups. I like Edelbrock myself, so I would go with the perfromer heads. Look into them, they might give you more for what our looking for.

Judging by what you have, you don't need expensive aluminum heads yet. The GT-40's are good. I have a set of E7TE's that were ported and polished from Power Heads in California. They have 1.90/1.60 valves with .550" lift springs. They were only about $750 with shipping and core. For the money I am very happy with them. A friend of mine was running in the 11's with a 150 shot of nitrous. The flow numbers are good for the money. I read that they are really responsive above 5500RPM. Just thought I would give you an opinion if you are not rolling in a money tree. Here is the # to Power Heads (714)-992-4909 or their website www.powerheads.com.

Good luck and have fun installing your parts
