I heard that if you have an MSD6AL that you should gap the spark plugs differet is this true? if so what at , mine are at .52, and also what would you clean the IAC sensor with. I have a surging idle

I mean the IAB would carb cleaner work, or would it just make it worse( did I Just answer my own question)

I can't answer your question but I think you could answer mine. I found a 6AL box by the fog light hole in my 93GT a few months after I bought it. What does the black rubber line coming out of the box do?? And is it "hot."

That plug is for the distributor connection. It can also be used for a few other MSD accessories.

I have the 6AL and kept my plugs gapped to the stock specifications. (.054") You can try different gaps if you wish (see what happens performance wise), but I would keep the stock setting.
