SINGLE CHAMBER FLOWS
Currently running Mac offroad pipe and Mac Powerchamber mufflers. After putting in new motor I want to put a high flow cat pipe on and run single chamber flowmasters to improve sound quality. The only problem is that I have never heard single chambers on a stang. Car sounds great now but I don't know what the flows will sound like, any guesses?

They are really loud and when you lay into the pedal all the nice tone goes away it is just loud noise. They are a lot smaller so if you do get them you will need a small section of pipe to conect them to the existing stuff. I persoanly would keep the set-up you have, but that's just my opinion. I like mine nice and loud with the MAC dumps atleast when I go to WOT it still has a nice tone instead of just wide open noise.

I have them on my car and they sound like crap with tail pipes but with turndowns they sound great. I have the 1 chambers w/turndowns.
I have two sound clips of them in the user rides; check them out. Sound clip 1 Sound clip 2 ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX 12.565 @109.38mph 1.764 60ft |
