Cheap coldair kit, too good to be true?
 

Just wanted to know if anyone here thinks this is a really good or really bad deal. Is this homemade?

Looks like any other CAI kit to me...

Take a look at "view seller's feedback" in the ad to get a feel for who you might be giving money to...

I BOUGHT ONE ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO. IT LOOKS JUST LIKE THE MAC COLD AIR KIT ESCEPT FOR THE BLUE FILTER THAT COMES WITH IT. I DID HAVE TO CUT WHERE THE FILTER ATTACHES TO THE INTAKE. IT DID HAVE A BEND WHERE IT WENT INTO THE FENDER WELL CAUSING HESITATION PROBLEMS WHEN I TOOK MY FOOT OFF THE GAS PEDAL. ONCE I CUT THE INTAKE EVERYTHING WAS FINE. I'M VERY HAPPY WITH IT AND IT LOOKS GREAT!!

I bought one from them (Autobacs) a while ago just "because"...I can honestly say the filter is to small (starves for air) and it looked like someone played package soccer with it, they litely packaged it. Also, the pipe from the T/B to maf did not fit well so I used the pipe from the maf to the filter.

I ended up buying a 7" K&N filter to rectify the air flow. In all, I spent 90.00...not a bad deal.

You do get what you pay for...
