Hyd. Clutch, Which cars had em ??
Which 5.0 motored cars had hydraulic clutches? I am looking to put a Richmond 6 speed behind my 347 in my 66 and need to start researching which hyd clutch setup to use. Any trucks with 5.0's use hyd. clutches? Any help would be appreciated

I cant tell you which Ford has a Hyd. clutch, but I can tell you that all 80's Camaros with T5 tranny's had them. We swapped the setup into my friends car not that long ago. It wasnt too hard. The fill tank mounted up near the brake vacuum booster, ran the line down to where the slave cylinder mounted to the firewall(had to drill a 1" hole to pass the rod through) then mounted the rod to the back of the pedal (had to weld a bolt onto the pedal to mount the rod). The pain in the *** part was rigging bracket to mount the cylinder to the bellhousing, but it will all work nicely when your done! Good luck!
