Movin' to Milan (Michigan)
 

Hi everyone,

I just got a new job so I'm gonna be moving down to the Milan/Tecumseh area. I'll actually be working out of Tecumseh but I figured I might as well live a little closer to the drag strip at Milan! I need to start looking for a decent cheap place to rent so if anyone has the hook up let me know.

Well, if you've driven on Plank Road, you see most of the surroundings are farmland and such. Don't know of anybody renting up that way, but I can't imagine that anything will be that expensive long as you're just outside the city limits of Milan. Just remember that Plank is 45mph, and cops DO cruise that stretch between Milan and Grape occasionally!

Thanks for the heads up. I've never been down to that area before, but I have found some newer apartments online for rent cheap right in Tecumseh, so I'll probably go with that for now, and look for a house w/garage to rent later. I seems like you have to drive around and look for the FOR RENT signs on those to get a decent price. I may head down Sunday and have a look around to see what things are like. I figured it would be a lot of farmland (great place for a Forester, eh?).
