Rebuild kit?

Does anyone know where I can get a rebuild kit for my 289 engine?

Quite a few companies sell this type of thing. I would get a Summit catalog, a Jeg's catalog and look for PAW advertisements, I think they will be able to supply what you are looking for. That is where I would start anyway.

summit and jegs sell individual parts, not kits, and paw has a website but you can only order a catalog, or you can order parts IF you have the part number available. be aware the paw sells "white box" parts in their kits. that means the the parts can come froma number of manufacturers, like badger, trw etc. the part are good but you dont get to select what brand you get, unless you are willing to pay a premium to specify trw. they do it that way to save money as they will shop for the best buy on parts. the paw catalog is almort 1200 pages, and is chock full of parts. it costs about $10 or so to get one sent to you.

there really isnt a standard kit.. things like pistons, you dont want to get untill the engine is torn down...so you know how much of an over bore is needed... same with bearings..standard or under sized..

anyway... this is sort of what you're looking for..
