Tech help "65"

I looking to convert my "65" hardtop (289 C code 2v) to a 4v. I'm looking to change the intake to an "Edelbrock 289 performer" and adding the Ford 4100 (Carb. #4102), will this configuration work? Do I need spacers for the carb mount to the intake? I'm new at this and I want to get it correct the first time. Any suggestions? What would you do?

Thanks, Bouf

this will be a very nice settup. the 4100 uses a holley bolt pattern so it will bolt to the intake with no problem. i would however use a 1/4-1/2" spacer made from an insulating material to prevent fuel boiling, you can pick one up at most any good parts store like the place where you got your intake from.
