Corvette C5
 

I was comming back from work. I saw that nice silver Corvette C5. We raced from a 80mph roll. I was stuck in fourth gear because it only goes to about 84-85 mph. Anyways, not that it would make any difference in the outcome. So we both punch it. At first it was really not that bad. I actualy thought for one second that I could keep up. Then he starting pulling on me faster and faster. At the end of fourth gear he was a good 3-4 cars in front. And it didnt get better in fifth gear. ;)

So I gave him the thumbup and drove back home.

Your civic and my cobra run about the same. I hang with the C-5's till about 80mph then they start to pull away.

I did beat one though a couple of months ago.

Those things have sick top end.

nice run... its fun win or loss, and i like reading about it.. seems like you're the only one getting races around here. i havent had any to speak of lately :/

Yeah, I too have been having trouble getting races.

I did get a quick run with a Jaguar Type R? It had the whole black out treatment and big rims, I let him have the jump and I pulled on him pretty easily but couldn't pass because there was no room.
