booster problem

I have a 1999 v-6 mustang, and I have replaced the booster 3x!!! After visiting the ford dealership 6x, they gave up and said the "ford national hotline" said it is the nature of the car to make this horrible noise. Everytime I press the brakes, you can hear a loud rusty noise. I have brand new brake pads and roaters, so I know its not that. Can you help?

Can you pinpoint the location of the noise (front or rear)?

In some cases on drum brakes, the metal frame of the pads rubs on the inside of the drum. Examine the drums to see if this is the case (look for shiney areas where the metal was rubbing).

Thank you for your response. The noise is directly under the brake pedal. It sounds like a coil/spring that is incredibly rusted. I took it to yet another Ford Dealership and they said the only thing they can do is put another booster on it!

So does the noise only appear as you are depressing the pedal?

It could be the pedal mechanism. There is a return spring and a bushing assembly inside the car that could be making the noise.

Yes. The noise is every time I depress the brake pedal. But, that sounds so obvious, how come none of the Ford dealerships checked that out? What should I ask them to do?
