ookay i took my car to the dyno today these are my mods 302 bottom end edelbrock heads 6037's milled down 50 thousands of an inch rpm air gap intake demon 650 carb custum cut cam lontubes 373 gears and the track without any tunning i was able to go 12.3 @108 i took it to get tunned and they siad i have 285 rwhp @ 5750which seemed kinda low it had 296 pounds of torque @2500 then i sprayed it with my 150 shot direct port kit this is where i really got upset it only went up to 338.4 rwhp @5250 and the torque went to 417 @3750 does anyone have any suggestions on why that only increased about 50 rwhp im kinda pissed i dont know if the dyno is being operated right the car kept spinning the tires and even one time the clutch spun which i wasnt very happy about because i cant even get it to spin on slicks o yeah its a mustang dyno are they better or worse than a dyno jet if anyone has any advice please let me know

A mustang dyno will show lower figures than dynojet. I don't know if there is a set figure or Percentage differnce.

Can you post the graph, cause something's not right?

The Mustang Dyno will read lower. From what I've heard and witnessed, the Mustang Dyno typically reads about 10% lower than a Dynojet.

Get that thing on a Dynojet!!!

dont worry about what the dyno says...just use it to tune the A/F ratio etc..to see if you can get an increase above the baseline.. your MPH in the 1/4 is a better way to figure out how much HP you really have..

I'm not sure what your car weighs, but if you are anywhere near 3000, 285 peak and 108mph doesnt sound too far off.

im most really concered with is how come I only made 50 rwhp with a 150 shot on there the onl thing i can think of is the nitrous fp is set to high and will this work my car has the right air fuel ratio when running on motor so i have an egt gauge should i matcvh my nitrous egt's with my egt's of the car on motor so the nitrous will be tunned the same

get a bottle pressure gauge 1st.. to low a PSI will kill HP too..
