Cam specs

Cam motion said this is what I need.
Duration @ .050 216, lift 531, 114 lobe sep, install @ 112

What do yall think?

Low duration and high lift will probly make alot of torque and be good till around 5500 or so.

I just finished looking in MM&FF in the head test section. The cam used there is very close to the one that cam motion is cutting for me.

got that article right here. ;) seem like with a good set of heads and intake it is making great power. almost 400 with the afr 165's.

Can you run that much lift with 2.02 valves and stock pistons?

88workcar 08-14-2003 06:30 AM

I did a clerance check last night. With the E-cam, 100 thou on the exhast, 70 thou on the intake. I can bolt them up and let her rip. Then when the other one comes in I will put it in in a few weeks.

Did you use clay to check your piston to vlave clearance?

Yes clay, and play dough. It came out the same either way.
