GTech vs Track?????
I know going to the track is better but how good is the Gtech at the 1/4 How close is the Time@MPH to the track? any one used the Gtech at the Track? I just ran a
0-60MPH 6.29 1/4 14.90@100.2MPH The very Bad time is my gears and my Trans and the New Stock Cluch That slips bad got a bit of spin in 1st and more in 2nd I finished in 3 at about 5000rpms ------------------ 1988 LX 5.0 3060lbs (full Tank) Drivetrain: 2.73 Stock Gears, World Class T-5, Lakewood Bellhousing, Summit Adjustable Cluch Quadrant & Cable, Alumminum Driveshaft, Flaming River Manual Steering Rack Suspension: MAC Control Arms,Maximum Motorsports Front Grip Package, H&R Sport Spings, Bilstein Shocks Engine: Steal Mounts, Ram air, K&N, Under Drive Pulles Exhaust: 1 5/8 Un-Equal Length Mac Headers, X-pipe W\cats, Edelbrock cat\back |
i've tested it and its about .01-.015 seconds and 4-5 mph faster than the actual track numbers,so you will probably actually run a 15.0 @95mph or so, this is very typical of any stock geared 5.0, you need gears BADLY, with your mods, a set of 3.73s should cut atleast a half second off your times

I realy need gears I CANT even SPIN them in 1st http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif By the end of next month I will get some 3.73 I had a LOT more power when I had the stock T-5 I had a best of 13.8@106 with the tires spiing all though 1&2 to about 55MPH NOw all I can get is a 2IN Brunout. I hope I can take 1sec. off and add about 5MPH I think I will need to get a cluch to do that It may be optimistic But I can Hope http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif
