hi-flow fuel pump & reg???

right now i have a stock fuel system. if i put a new fuel pump in now (i know it won't help out my performance yet), will it matter "now" if it is a 190 or 255? they are both on sale locally for the same price. should i go ahead and get the 255? and, is the stock fuel reg. adjustable(if there is one, i haven't even looked at my fuel lines yet) and if so from what psi ranges??

The stock fuel regulator is not adjustable. Its set around 37psi. Dont know what to big of fuel pump will do for you.

The bigger fuel pump will basically do nothing for you at this time....but remember, you're preparing for the final destination (wherever that is). 255's a big pumper....I wouldn't go that big unless you're going to be putting out over 500hp, otherwise the 190's just fine.
