Robert Palmer R.I.P.
Well, I noticed that nobody posted on this....maybe ya'll are not old enough to have noticed. But we lost a very good man in the rock world yesterday.
Ive been posting it on the other sites. Yet another lost way to young and before his time. When they launched MTV he was there. "Looking for Clues" is one of my faves. Only 54. I'm posting a link to the story, and a video clip. On the video clip you have to click on ENTER at top, then go to MORE on the left if the story is not on the first page. Its a video of a news story done on his passing and an interview w/ him. You have to sit thru some advertising crap, but the video will come up. Im so sad. Again....life is short. Make the best of it NOW...the future is way to uncertain. Well that sucks!! This is the first I've heard about this! I always loved his videos, what school boy didn't?:D Hmmm.. so he was in his 30s when he made those videos... Life is short Christine.. Famous people I'm familiar with are dropping like flies.... not a good sign..

Simply Irresistable and Addicted to Love were two of the best videos ever.

This is alot like 1977
2003 has shaped up to be much like 1977 in celebrity deaths especially those who are LEGENDS. Look at this;
1977: Elvis Presley, Bing Crosby, Freddie Prinze (NBC's Chico and the Man), Members of Lynyrd Skynyrd (plane crash), Groucho Marx,Sebastian Cabot (TV's Family Affair), and others.. 2003: Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, John Ritter, Robert Palmer, and others.. |
I was hoping a Powerstation reunion would happen:(
Only the good die young... |
