Question about AOD

Does anybody know what has to be done to change the shift pattern on an AOD from 1/2 - D - OD to 1 - 2 - D/OD, I believe it requires a Valvebody modification, but if anyone has any helpful information on this thread it is greatly aprreciated.

thanks,

Paul

AOD

I have the Lentech AOD valve body. It has a switch for overdrive otherwise you have a 1-2-3 shift. It works great. If you get one, have your tranny guy call them to enlarge the proper fluid hole for a firmer shift.

Yep, the Lentech is the sure way to go. I've got one and have loved every minute of it. They set it up to shift 1-2-D/electronic OD, and they'll set the shift firmness to wherever you want it to be. Good folks to do business with and a very high quality product. It's easy to install as well.
