Base HP for 88,89, and 95 GT's
 

Just need the base horsepower for the 88,89 and 95 GT's

Try this site...there is lots of good stat info on there about our Fox Mustangs...And I believe that the 94-95 GTs had 215HP??Almost positive about this...Mustang GT Registry

The base 88 and 89 GT were rated at 225 from the factory, but were actually putting out approx 235-240. The 95 was rated at 215 from the factory but was actually puting out approx. 225. Just as a note Ford under rated their power by about 10-15 from 87-95 and over rated by about 10-15 from 96-98. The rating then became under rated again in 99 and up. An excellent example would be the 1993 Cobra. It was rated at 235 with the factory gt-40 componets. This set up gave approx. 40-45 more horses on a base 5.0L. The 93 Cobra actually was putting out approx. 265-270. Hope this helps
